今天公司一片血雨腥风。5楼整整一个group,60多号人，开了“解散动员大会”。去年就听说5楼那个组的项目出了问题，一直以来他们的管理都有问题，大家也没有当回事。毕竟我们是给政府的研究机构打工属于旱涝保丰收型。没有想到，竟然真会有这样一天发生。那个组所有同事将分成3批在9月底之前全部离开，其中有我们中国同事4位。估计我们的director，也很头疼，这是我们center成立５０年来第一次因为项目没做好而被迫中止导致大规模解雇。大老板们这几天天天开会研究人员调动问题，还有我们刚刚续了约租和几天前刚刚翻修好的办公室。

 

唉，生活不容易啊。我还是上班老实干活，少上网乱逛的好。

I haven't been blogging for a while. Couple reasons: 1. summer is always the busiest season at my work, new project just starts and abstracts of our biggest annual conference dued in early Aug. 2. yeah, home improvements for our new house. 3. well, maybe just too lazy, hoho!

 

We did a make over for our master bedroom walk in closets. We took off the old white plastic racks, filled the nail holes, painted the wall into a light green color (which is my all time favorate), bought some frames and shelves from IKEA, then finally installed them. It took my hubby and his friend 1 whole weekend just to install my closet. My hubby's closet is still under "construction". hoho, anyway, I am going to post some quick look of my new closet first. :) I really enjoy it a lot!
